So I was going to make the February Mix’s video completely different than normal. Normally for a monthly mix video, I’d just take random clips that I thought felt appropriate to a song. But for the February Mix, I was going to tell a story of a few video game characters trying to save their loved ones. But I just lost the will of completing it and just gave up working on it.

The story was going to show the perspective of three video game characters: Mario, Megaman, and Link. Each character was going to lose a loved one. Mario was going to lose Peach. Megaman was going to lose Roll. And Link was going to lose Zelda. All the girls would be kidnapped by the villains of their respected game. In the end, each hero would come together and fight the villains and save their woman.

A while back I found this mash-up http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eg50TkpHJHQ that had a sampled beat from the video game Pokemon: Black and White. I really liked the beat a lot, so I made my own version of the beat with the same sample. Then I mashed it with “Moment 4 Life” by Nicki Minaj. However, it’s not quite done yet. When it gets to the chorus section, the beat sounds really weird with Minaj’s chorus. And, I don’t really have a nice sounding bassline in the beat and can’t figure out how to make it. So it’s been in limbo for quite some time.

There was a contest to make a remix of songs by the talented LIGHTS. So I thought I’d try and make one. I tried creating a remix of “Everybody Breaks A Glass” and I worked on it for a few days, but I eventually stopped working on it and never finished it.
